Fiorentina have demanded another Chelsea loanee after a deal for Mohamed Salah broke down

Salah has gone against the original contract first drawn up when he joined on loan, according to Fiorentina.

The Serie A club are angered that Chelsea have not honoured a clause in Salah’s contract by extending the 23-year-old’s loan if a permanent deal could not be agreed.

The Egypt international had impressed at the Florence club and had been offered ÂŁ2million in wages per-season to remain at the club on a permanent basis.

However, his agent Ramy Abbas revealed his client had not accepted the offer wanted a move to a rival in the Serie A.

Director general’s comments

La Viola have been left feeling aggrieved and director general Andrea Rogg has insisted Chelsea must loan them another player.

“There has been some contact between clubs. Our position is open to a solution, without forgetting that we have more than one reason to feel we are right about this.

“We want to emerge from this situation in an amicable manner. Chelsea have many interesting players and this could be the route we go down” said Rogg.

Salah OUT Cuadrado IN

Cuadrado only joined Chelsea back in January for ÂŁ26million but has failed to make an impact in England and is rumoured to be heading back to Italy this summer.

Inter Milan manager Roberto Mancini is reportedly targeting both Salah and Cuadrado, with the Colombia international believed to be his no. 1 target.
