The Adem Ljajic story continues in Italy and Fiorentina has now slamed the Milan offer for the 22-year-old player with an harsh statement. In the statement the Viola, for example, writes that the offer from Milan for the player is “unacceptable, late and inopportune.”

“With regards to what was said yesterday by Paolo Panerai on the Ljajicissue, Fiorentina confirm our counsellor’s comments were personal expressions. Having said that, we consider Milan’s offer to be unacceptable, certainly late and absolutely inopportune,” read the statement.

Panerai had also during the Saturday made an ‘attack’ at Milan’s Vice-President Adriano Galliani for an approach he thought was ‘violating the rules’. He also complained about that there had not been any formal offers, as the €8m bid olny was delivered in a phone call. Milan did finally sent the fax this weekend, only to realize that the €8m proposal is considered to be not enough.

Earlier reports told that the attacker had turned down Tottenham and instead are pushing for a Milan move, where reports says that they already have an agreement over the personal terms.
