5 things we learnt from todays Premier League game
Chelsea taste defeat again, this time at the hands of Everton at Goodison Park. The Toffees ran out easy 3-1 winners as they blew Chelsea away thanks to a Steven Naismith hat-trick. Jose Mourinho is surely under pressure now and the odds on Jose Mourinho to be sacked will probably be slashed again.
SillySeason takes a look at 5 things we learnt from the Premier League match.
1. Chelsea need to drop the under-performers
They say the definition of insanity is repeating the same mistakes over and over while expecting a different result. However Jose Mourinho still keeps making them.
Branislav Ivanovic and Cesc Fabregas have been the weakest links in this Chelsea team for some time now, that much is evident. But yet they still keep making the starting XI.
If Chelsea are to get back on track, they need to recognise this weakness and come up with a quick solution.
Ivanovic and Fabregas need to be dropped and Chelsea need to try something different. Sometimes you have to hold your hands up, admit something is working and then be brave enough to change it.
