Jurgen Klopp picked up his first win at Anfield last night
Liverpool picked up their first win under new management last night thanks to a Nathaniel Clyne first-half strike as they dumped AFC Bournemouth out of the Capital One Cup.
It’s taken Jurgen Klopp four games in charge to pick up his first victory, but last night was the night as Clyne gave the Reds a 1-0 win at Anfield which booked their place in the Quarter Finals.
Draws against Tottenham Hotspur, Rubin Kazan and Southampton had ruined Klopp‘s arrival, but he’s finally off the mark with a win.
Here are SillySeason‘s Five Things learnt from the 1-0 win at Anfield last night.
5) Patience Needed

Patience is what’s needed around Anfield if they want to bring back the glory days.
Jurgen Klopp is a brilliant manager, and in time, he will bring success back to Liverpool Football Club, but in the meantime, fans will have to be patient and wait for that day to arrive.
Klopp is still working with Brendan Rodgers‘ squad and what the Northern Irishman left behind, which simply put, isn’t a very strong squad.
Once Klopp has settled and worked his magic, Liverpool will be a force again, but they just need patience.
