Real Madrid president Florentino Perez insists his team still can overturn their form and are very much in the run to win every possible trophy in this season.
Los Blancos have had their worst possible start as they are currently lying in a distant sixth place in the La Liga. Following their 5-1 drubbing at the hand of Barcelona things got really difficult for them and Perez decided to get rid of Julen Lopetegui.
Santiago Solari got off to a winnings start as Madrid shrugged off the challenge of Valladolid in the La Liga quite comfortably. Goals from Vinicius Junior and Sergio Ramos were enough as they produced a clinical victory at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite suffering many hiccups in the ongoing season Perez believes his team has the potential to overcome all problems. “We’ve got a great squad which has proved that it’s capable of winning everything going.
“I want to state that all of our targets for this season remain intact.
“We are experiencing one of the most extraordinary stages in the history of Real Madrid. We have to value this and what we are achieving.”
