Former Blues coach Paul Clement has hit out Roman Abramovich’s manager policy at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Conte is the seventh manager under Roman Abramovich’s reign as owner
Clement believes Chelsea’s managerial revolving door is holding their homegrown youngsters back as they’re looking for short-term results.
“They are bringing lots of good youngsters through,” said the Swansea boss, whose side lost 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
“The reasons they don’t make the transition are numerous. I suppose when you’re changing managers so quickly, that doesn’t help.
“The next manager comes in, looks at what has happened before and needs short-term results. There’s less faith in longer-term products.
“There’s a lot of good young players there, a lot out on loan.
“It needs someone to be there long enough to give them opportunity. But they have to be good enough.”
What do you think? is this an ongoing problem for the Blues?
