Brendan Rodgers has refused to address his linkup with Leicester City.

Leicester decided to part ways with Claude Puel following a string of bad results. Rodgers who could lead Celtic to back to back Scottish top flight title has been linked with the job.

The former Liverpool manager has been a revelation since moving to Scotland. This season also the Bhoys have been pretty dominating in the top flight as they are currently eight points clear of second placed Rangers.

The Foxes are currently without a permanent manager and re reportedly very keen to bring in the player back to his old hunting ground. A hefty compensation in the range of ÂŁ5m would be needed if the former Liverpool manager is to leave the Parkhead but that seems very unlikely as the 46 year is pretty devoted to his current job.

Rodgers said, “I don’t feel anything. In my two-and-a-half years here there has always been speculation around various jobs that have come up

“I just think it’s the nature of it. My focus was very much on the team today and the players. They were absolutely brilliant and that has been my only focus really.”
