Former Real Madrid President Claims Jose Mourinho Set To Take Charge Of Real Madrid Next Season

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon claims Jose Mourinho will be back at the helm of Real Madrid next season.

The former Manchester United manager has been linked with a return to his old stomping ground during the earlier turmoil the club had faced. But Santiago Solari has managed to steady the boat as of now but Los Blancos are expected to undergo some major changes in the summer.

Florentino Perez had tried to replace Zinedine Zidane with Julen Lopetegui but the Spaniard had an awful few months at the Santiago Bernabeu. The 5-1 hammering at the hands of Barcelona proved too hot for him as Madrid president decided to hand over the charge to Solari.

Mourinho has been without a job since getting sacked by United and has rejected Benfica as the Portuguese seems to be waiting for the right offer. The 3-0 defeat in the Copa del Rey fuelled the rumours once more and a decision is expected to be taken by the club.

Calderon said, “I have a feeling, and maybe a little more, that Mourinho will be on the  Real Madrid bench next season

Football is a forceful game

“We applied ourselves well, with energy, but we weren’t decisive.

“We have been beaten with honour, but we’re sad because this is a tough blow for us to take.

“It isn’t a failure because it was a semi-final and we won’t be able to play in the final, so we will have to try again.”
