Former Tottenham midfielder David Ginola has suggested a move away from Tottenham to Dele Alli.

He says that Dele Alli should move away from Spurs before the transfer window shuts – and he still has a small chance to slip away.

The midfielder is linked with a loan to PSG for a while now and Ginola wants him to take that option.

“In the second half you could see Dele Alli was very cautious about not losing the ball, not doing any of these special things we know he is capable of,” said Ginola to SkySports.

“Doing that in Paris would be a new challenge for him, I don’t see why not. We haven’t had any English players playing for Paris.

“For Spurs, we mentioned Son, Kane, Bale, if he wants to play there, he needs to improve his game.”

Jose Mourinho, however, is rather happy with Dele Alli, insisting that there have been no issues with him at Tottenham.

“He never stopped showing, I always thought that. I never had a problem with him. Very polite and educated, behaving well and training well,” Mourinho said.

“If sometimes I want different things from him on the pitch that’s more about his qualities as his player.

“He was on the bench, in a team and squad where it’s going to be difficult to play.”

With the transfer window shutting, however, it looks unlikely that Alli will be making a move to PSG. But who’s to say?
