Former Manchester United star Andrei Kanchelskis has said that Anthony Martial will leave for Real Madrid.
He said that the Manchester United winger is set to emulate former Red Devils talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, who also left for Santiago Bernabeu a decade ago.
Former Manchester United star Andrei Kanchelskis has predicted that French ace Anthony Martial will leave Old Trafford and make a move to Real Madrid, just like United’s former talisman Cristiano Ronaldo. Martial has been highly influential and has got his side over the line on a number of occasions this season, which has not been much productive for the Red Devils.
Last season the player was sidelined for most of the time by manager Jose Mourinho and he has been looking to force his way out of the club since then. This season, however, he has been handed more time by the Portuguese gaffer and has answered to his faith with a number of quality performances for the Red Devils.
Andrei Kanchelskis said, “Martial won’t be playing for Man Utd next season and I think he could follow the same route that Ronaldo did by moving to Real Madrid.” He added, “Martial is young and has started to show what he can do. If he can reach his potential, he has the chance to go and replace Ronaldo as Madrid’s next Galactico. He obviously still has a lot to learn, but there’s a chance for him to make it happen.”
