Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be set for yet another Summer selling spree, with four of his first-team players set to face the axe.

The Gunners sold more than 15 players last Summer, and only brought in three in the shapes of Mathieu Flamini, Yaya Sanogo and Mesut Ozil, and according to reports, four more players are set to leave the Emirates Stadium this Summer as well.

Strikers Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski could be on their way out of the club due to their stuttering season, and they could be joined by defensive duo Thomas Vermaelen and Nacho Monreal, both who are disappointed with the lack of first-team football.

These four will also be joined by Lukasz Fabianski, who is leaving on a free once his contract expires, and could also be joined by right-back Bacary Sagna, who’s contract is also set to expire this Summer.

Wenger has grown frustrated with the lack of improvement within Giroud, Podolski and Monreal, all who have been signed in the past two seasons, and moves abroad could be on the cards for the three of them.

As for Vermaelen, it’s believed Wenger wants to keep the club-captain, but the Belgium international is desperate for more playing-time.
