Arsenal dealt massive injury blow

Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin is likely to miss up to three months after suffering a serious knee injury against West Bromwich Albion yesterday afternoon.

The holding-midfielder limped off after a nasty collision with Baggies star Claudio Yacob, and according to reports in France, it’s looking likely that the midfielder will miss around three months.

The 24-year-old has reportedly strained ligaments in his knee, meaning he will be out of action until the New Year, potentially derailing Arsenal‘s title challenge.

Massive Blow

The Gunners‘ form has risen thanks to Coquelin filling in the void in the heart of the midfield, but now this injury blow is likely to setback Arsene Wenger‘s men, who failed to land a cover centre-mid over the summer.

With Mikel Arteta also limping off in the same game, it leaves the club with just Mathieu Flamini as an option for centre-midfield.

As of yet, Arsenal haven’t released any official update.
