According to Chelsea Legend Frank Lampard, John Terry is unhappy.
The 36-year-old has only started four Premier League games this season under new boss Antonio Conte.
Instead the Italian has chose to go with David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta in his back three.
Which doesn’t leave much room, if any for the Blues veteran.
And Lampard has revealed the former England star is unhappy taking a back seat in west London.
“He’s obviously not happy [to take a back seat],” Lampard told Goals on Sunday.
“He wants to play but I spoke to him at the training ground a while ago and told him what a credit he is.
“At his age and stature at the club, he could sit back and not travel and look to the future.
“But he’s trained hard behind the scenes and I don’t think you can forget the influence John is having.
“He’s been a real credit to himself.”
