Antoine Griezmann could be set for a transfer to the Premier League after the Frech forward has admitted he will leave La Liga side Real Sociedad this summer. This has put Brendan Rodgers on alert as he looks to add options for his forward line after the club agreed to sell Luis Suarez to Barcelona.
Representatives of the forward who impressed at the World Cup for France have made it clear that Griezmann won’t be extending his contract with the Basque side. Real Sociedad will want atleast £25 million for the player who bagged 20 goals in all competitions last season.
Arsenal were reportedly keeping tabs on the French international but since they secured the signature of Alexis Sanchez their interest has diminished. PSG are also said to be in for the forward however Financial Fair Play sanctions may hinder the Ligue 1 champions after they spent £50 million on David Luiz.
If Liverpool were to sign Griezmann it would be a major coup for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
