Fulham’s deadline day transfers continue as they complete the signing of Sergio Rico from Sevilla. Rico is the club’s third signing of the deadline after Joe Bryan and Luciano Vietto.

Sergio Rico came to Sevilla in 2014 after spending three years at the club’s B team. Rico spent four seasons at the club, making 169 appearances. He helped the club win two successive Europa League titles in 2014-15 and 2015-16. He has also played for the Spanish national team, featuring in the squad for Euro 2016.

The 24-year old is the second goalkeeper the club has signed this summer after the signing of Fabri from Besiktas.

Following his transfer, Rico said, “I’m very happy, really pleased to have signed for the oldest club in the Premier League. I’m excited to start training, to meet all my teammates and, above all, to enjoy the season that starts this Saturday.”

Fulham begin their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace on Saturday at Craven Cottage.
