Turkish team could take midfielder off Jose’s hands
Galatasaray are looking to buy Manchester United’s Marouane Fellaini.
Fellaini has endured a difficult three years at Old Trafford since signing from Everton in 2013, with fans not happy with his big, lanky playing style.
The arrival of Paul Pogba has pushed him further down Jose Mourinho’s pecking order, and a mistake in the Community Shield win over Leicester last weekend did nothing to improve his popularity .
And, according to Turkish publication ‘Mynet’, Galatasaray could be the ones to end Fellaini’s United nightmare.
The club reportedly want the Belgium international as an alternative to Lucas Leiva, who now looks set to stay at Liverpool.
Mourinho may opt to keep Fellaini at the club despite Pogba sealing an £89million return to United last week.
However, he is not expected to be the first-team regular he was under both David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.
