Chelsea star is unsettled in West London after recent fall-outs
Chelsea striker Diego Costa is a surprise target for Super Lig outfit Galatasaray.
The Spaniard has fallen out of favour at Stamford Bridge, after being dropped for their past two games against Tottenham Hotspur and AFC Bournemouth.
Both occasions Jose Mourinho played a false number-9 with Eden Hazard leading the line, but in both games the Blues failed to hit the net, drawing 0-0 to Spurs and losing 1-0 to Bournemouth.
Costa has struggled for goals all season, failing to continue his impressive form from last season, and he’s also had a couple of run-ins with Mourinho in recent weeks, including a bust-up on the pitch against Maccabi Tel-Aviv.
With his future uncertain, Galatasaray are plotting an ambitious bid for the striker, and could launch a formal offer in January.
It’s not yet understood whether they will approach with a loan deal or whether they will go all out and launch a permanent bid.
