Real Madrid star confirms desire to stay
Gareth Bale has played down intense speculation surrounding his future at Real Madrid, insisting that a move to Manchester United or Chelsea is not on the cards.
The Welsh wing wizard has had a poor season at the Bernabeu, and has been booed by the club’s fans on more than one occasion.
The Spanish media have also not been kind to Bale, with constant criticism of his performances. The local press have even claimed that he has met with club president Florentino Perez regarding his future.
Premier League Interest
United and Chelsea are long-term admirers of Bale, and a move to Old Trafford or Stamford Bridge has been talked about for some time as the club look to build a title challenge next season after finishing fourth this term.
But despite the interest from the Premier League, and the intense media scrutiny, Bale is insistent that he is going nowhere.

He tweeted: “Not the way we had hoped to end the season, we always want to win trophies. Will be working hard in the off season and looking forward to coming back next season stronger with @realmadrid.”
