Angry Neville as I like to call him is a little triggered that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been pegged as favourite to win Premier League Manger of the year.
The Blues are very close to sealing another Premier League title, they currently sit seven points clear of Tottenham.
Antonio Conte has done a remarkable job cleaning up the mess Jose Mourinho left at Stamford Bridge, However, Gary Neville still believes Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino should be the one deserving of the prestigious award.
“I love Tottenham, they’re probably my favourite team in the league to watch,” Neville said.
“Pochettino has built a team, brought players through and the budget is nowhere near the other clubs. For me he’s doing an amazing job.”
Let’s not forget that Neville failed big time as a manager and still believes he knows everything there is to know about the subject, just another pundit clown.
Meanwhile Jamie Carragher explained his backing of Conte by praising his “outstanding job” in his first year.
“The signings have worked really well, he’s changed the system, brought someone like Victor Moses in who no one thought was good enough to play at that level and rejuvenated players like Eden Hazard, Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa,” he said.
