Chelsea and Man United are just two of several clubs that are set to watch Gelson Martins in the Champions League this week, as they consider moves for him.
The winger – who currently plays for Sporting Lisbon – is attracting a lot of interest from a number of top teams across Europe and there are expected to be a lot of scouts watching him and his side in Champions League action this week.
He has become a key member of the team for his club side and also begun to feature a lot more frequently for his international side too.
Will not be cheap
When given the chance to impress, he has taken it with both hands and now there are several sides queuing up to sign him.
He won’t be cheap despite his young age, with Sporting Lisbon well aware of his potential and although they will be reluctant to let him go, they could be persuaded with the right bid.
Both Chelsea and Man United are already keen to bring him to England and they could do battle for his signature in January. If he performs well in the Champions League against Real Madrid, they will both be further persuaded to launch a bid for him as soon as possible.
