During the recent transfer window, Steven Gerrard shocked Liverpool fans after admitting he was leaving Anfield this summer.
We are all now aware that Gerrard will be joining MLS outfit LA Galaxy, who have recently had Premier League greats such as David Beckham and Robbie Keane in their squad.
However, LA Galaxy have already begun retailing replica Gerrard shirts, and they are certainly taking advantage of Gerrard’s big reputation.
A short sleeve Gerrard top is priced at $175, the equivalent to £115. Also, a long-sleeve version would cost the equivalent of £134.
To put these prices into perspective, a season ticket for LA Galaxy fans costs the equivalent of £161.
Gerrard is expected to make his debut in the ‘California Clasico’ (LA Galaxy vs San Jose Earthquakes) in July, after signing an 18-month contract worth £6 million.
