Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs has revealed that everyone is finally seeing what midfielder Aaron Ramsey is capable of and he believes his recent performances have been ‘the real Ramsey’.
The Welshman was superb during pre-season and he managed to continue his form into the new campaign with two great performances against Fenerbache in the Champions League and Fulham in the Premier League.
Ramsey has had a tough Arsenal career so far, especially two years ago when he broke his leg after a horror tackle from Stoke City’s Ryan Shawcross, but it seems that his injury woes are finally past him and his team-mate believes everyone is finally seeing how good Ramsey can be.
“We’re all aware of his qualities,” the left back said. “He’s had a good run of games now – at the end of last season, through pre-season and now – so you’re starting to see the real Aaron.
“We all knew what he was capable of and we need him. He’s becoming a vital part of the team so hopefully he can stay fit and he’ll be helping us out.”
