Buffon reveals that the presence of Neymar and Mbappe played a part in his arrival at PSG
Gigi Buffon has revealed that the presence of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar played a part in his arrival at PSG. The former World Cup winner also heaped praises on the duo and hailed their exceptional qualities.
Buffon ended his relationship with Juventus to make a move to PSG last summer and the Italian claims that Mbappe can win Ballon d’Ors at will in the years to come.
“They are part of the reasons I came to PSG,” he told France Football.
“We all know Kylian. We all know that he has the world in his hands. If Kylian says to himself ‘I want to win five Ballon d’Ors in the next 10 years’ he will do it.
And Neymar was next to earn the shot-stopper’s praise.
“Neymar has the technique, the talent – he has the sort of class I’ve probably never seen before.
“He is incredible.”
