Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud is booed by French fans when he is replaced during the second half
After missing a host of chances during France’s 2-1 friendly win against Serbia, Giroud was greeted with boos and jeers as he was replaced by Benzema on the hour mark.
Giroud has had a difficult start to the season at Arsenal netting just once for the Gunners amongst calls from the Arsenal fans for a world class striker to be signed by Wenger.
France manager Didier Deschamps defended the striker after the game saying that Giroud was unlucky not to score and that he helped the team during the game.
