Olivier Giroud has said that he is a bit jealous of some of his teammates.

The French striker moved from Arsenal to Chelsea on the deadline day during the January transfer window last season.

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud has said that he is a bit jealous of some of his teammates about the fact that they have already won the Premier League in the past, which has eluded the Frenchman till date. The Blues striker moved from London rivals Arsenal to join Chelsea in the last term on the deadline day of the January transfer window and is looking to get his hands on the coveted Premier League trophy for the first time in his career.

During a recent interview with the Guardian, the French World Cup winner said, “I prefer to be at a big club rather than playing every week in a less prestigious team and I still have targets.” He added, “To win a Premier League is my last dream as a footballer, maybe more than winning a Champions League, because I know how tough it is to win this league.”

Speaking about his teammates who have already won the trophy before, he said, “I have teammates here who have won it, so I’m a bit jealous. I want to make it happen.”

Giroud also said, “Look, I know we lost at Wolves but we beat Manchester City, so don’t count on me to give up on that dream just yet. I don’t want to end with any regrets.”
