Javi Gracia has said that he is not looking to bring in any new strikers despite Stefano Okaka set to leave on loan.

The gaffer has said he is happy with his current squad at Watford.

Watford boss Javi Gracia has said that he is not looking to bring in any new strikers despite the departure of Stefano Okaka. The striker is set to join the Italian side Udinese on loan. However, the Spanish gaffer has said that he is no rush to add any new player to his current squad and is happy with whatever resources he has at his disposal.

Speaking to the media, Gracia said, “I know they are talking about that, I think it’s close and Stefano will be on loan at Udinese. With the players we have in this moment, we can achieve good things this season and I don’t expect anyone arriving.”

He added, “In that position we have strikers such as Troy, Gerard, Isaac. Andre Gray’s recovering, Penaranda as well and other players can play in this position so I’m not expecting any new players just because Stefano is leaving.”

Speaking about the speculations surrounding the possible departure of midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, the Watford manager said, “It’s not new, we had it from the last season, all the windows always we are speaking about him, but I know the owner wants to keep our important players with us. We will see what will happen because you never know, but in this moment I am thinking he will be with us all the season.”
