Blues hero Graeme Le Saux is backing Tottenham to beat Antonio Conte’s side in the FA Cup semi-final.

Tottenham are in red-hot form and are closing the gap at the top of the Premier League and will be looking to stop Chelsea’s FA cup hopes today.

Former Blue Graeme Le Saux believes Spurs can take the three points.

Le Saux, who played for Chelsea between 1989-93 and again between 1997-2003, thinks Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be too strong.

“I think this will be a tactically fascinating game and I can’t wait to see how Spurs line up – their best performance of the season was their 2-0 win over the Antonio Conte’s men, and they’re able to play with a back three and a back four adroitly,” Le Saux told the Betfair blog.

“Both teams will want to go out there and be creative and I’ve noticed that the Blues have developed more into a counter attacking team as the season has worn on.

“Although the bigger pitch might prove a slight problem for Spurs as it has done in the past – they’ve won just once at Wembley since 2008 – I still slightly favour them.

“They’re just playing so well at the moment. As a result I think I favour a 2-1 Spurs win.”
