Borussia Monchengladbach star will leave if right offer comes in

Granit Xhaka has put Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool on red-alert after confirming he will leave Borussia Monchengladbach if ‘a big club’ makes a move for him.

The midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in the past few weeks, with Arsenal and Liverpool reportedly interested in signing him for ÂŁ37million.

However, reports emerged yesterday that Chelsea had also entered the race to sign the 23-year-old and were also prepared to offer just shy of ÂŁ40m.

Xhaka has been speaking about his future, and although Monchengladbach are desperate to keep hold of him, he’s confirmed that he could think about a move if the right offer comes in.

Xhaka Prepared to Move

“Gladbach are a top club,” he said.

“But if I were someday to go to a top, top, top club, I want to play there.

“I’m not the type to be on the bench.”
