The Blues have agreed to send Tammy Abraham out on loan to Newcastle United.

The Daily Mail are claiming that Rafa’s strong relationship with Blues technical director Michael Emenalo has helped him secure their second summer signing after landing Christian Atsu on a permanent deal.

The report also claims that Benitez made the trip to St George’s Park on his wedding anniversary to talk Abraham into to making the switch over to Newcastle.

The deal is expected to be fully completed as early as this weekend.

Leicester City and Brighton are said to be interested in the 19-year-old striker, who has made a huge impact during his season-long loan over at Bristol City this season.

Abraham finished this campaign with 26 goals for the Championship club, However, Conte and Chelsea want the striker to spend a season in the Premier League to help his development.
