Arsenal and Manchester United target has £21million clause in contract

Manchester United and Arsenal can sign Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak if they meet his release clause of £21 million.

Krychowiak only joined the La Liga side last summer for £3.2 million, but after an impressive debut season, in which he made 32 appearances, the defensive midfielder has been tipped for a move away.

Release Clause Revealed

The Spanish side are keen to keep their player, however they know they are helpless to stop him leaving if a club matches his release clause.

“Those clubs that are interested in the player don’t have to call Sevilla, they just need to pay the buy-out clause directly.”

Arsenal and United Targets

Both Arsenal and Manchester United are in the market for new central midfielders, and they have been alerted by the Pole’s release clause in his contract.

United are looking for a long-term replacement for Michael Carrick, but have been strongly linked with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin, whilst Arsenal are looking for a partner for Francis Coquelin, and have also been linked with Schneiderlin from Southampton.

It’s believed both clubs will wait on the Frenchman’s decision after he revealed he will know more about his future later this week.
