Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Sergio Aguero will not play any part in the next match against Cardiff City.

The Argentine ace has been in delectable touch this season and has been a real threat up front for the rivals.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made it clear that Sergio Aguero will not be a part of the squad in the next match in the Premier League against Cardiff City owing to a shoulder injury, which might also see him miss the FA Cup semi-final matchup as well. Speaking to the media ahead of the match, the Premier League winning manager said, “He didn’t train for the last two days and tomorrow is not able, so hopefully for Saturday or Tuesday. But we will see the evolution of the next days.”

The player has been one of the best attackers in the Premier League, already notching up three hat-tricks this season so far, two of which has come against Chelsea and Arsenal. It is to be seen whether his absence in the Manchester City lineup will affect their defence of the Premier League trophy or not.
