Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola made it clear that the club will not make a bid for Eden Hazard. City take on Chelsea this evening at Stamford Bridge. The Blues lost their last match against Wolves and there wouldn’t be a better way to rebound than to defeat City.

When asked if Manchester City would make a bid for Hazard, Guardiola responded, “That is not going to happen. No. A lot. I’m agreeing with you. He said I’m so good that I’m agreeing with him. Switch on the TV, look at him, immediately you realise his qualities. You [the media] know his qualities better than me. He’s an exceptional player. One, by far, one of the best players in the world.”

After taking on Chelsea, Manchester City play their final Champions League group game against Hoffenheim on Wednesday.
