The Ajaccio goalkeeper is said to be a target for Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, who wants to snap up the 28-year-old when his contract expires in the summer.

And with interest also coming in from Italy, the Mexican says he is keeping an open mind to offers.

‘I am evaluating several offers from different countries. I have been in France for three years and I like the way in which this league has evolved, but I would also want to try elsewhere,’ Ochoa said.

‘At the moment I have no agreements with any team and I am willing to listen to all the proposals to make the best decision possible.

‘My agent is dealing with everything and I do not exclude a future in Italy or England.’

Rodgers is looking to bolster his squad in the summer and with goalkeeper Pepe Reina set to depart Anfield for good at the end of the season, Ochoa appears to be the top option to replace the Spaniard and offer cover to Simon Mignolet.
