The young PSG midfielder has under a year left on his current contract with the Ligue 1 champions and has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal.
Rabiot, who will be able to leave the Parc des princes in the summer on a free transfer has been tracked by both the Gunners and Roma, with the Serie A side coming the closer of the two to signing the Frenchman at the end of the summer transfer window.
And now the agent of the 19 year-old has confirmed that a move to Roma is likely.
A spokesperson of Rabiot’s sports management company told Ajax Showtime: “It is not expected that Rabiot will join Ajax.
“Paris Saint-Germain would like to extend his contract but Rabiot is willing to leave PSG and join Roma.
“The club have a French coach in Rudi Garcia and Serie A is a much better league than the Eredivise.”
