Former-Holland boss expected to take over at Stamford Bridge

Guus Hiddink has confirmed he IS in talks with Chelsea Football Club, but as it stands, he hasn’t agreed to take over from Jose Mourinho.

The Portuguese was sacked from his duties yesterday afternoon following a dismal start to the Premier League campaign, and it’s believed Hiddink will take over until the end of the season.

However, when asked about the Chelsea job and his interest in taking over at Stamford Bridge, the former-manager admitted that he has a lot to think about before he accepts.

Hiddink has been spotted in London talking to Chelsea officials, but he is still undecided whether or not he wants the job due to the issues going on behind the scenes.

Hiddink Speaks Out

He told De Telegraaf: “I want to get some good insight before I make my decision.

“I want as much information as possible. Chelsea are in a bad situation and there are reasons for that.

“Whether or not I’m visiting their next match depends on my first conversation. Then I’ll decide if I should stay in London longer.”

The Dutchman is expected to take over until the end of the season on an interim basis, but as it stands, he is still unsure whether he wants the job.
