Super agent Mino Raiola says that Haaland’s move to Borussia Dortmund was the correct thing to do – and that this transfer shall make him ready for a Premier League signing in the future.
Before the January tranfer window had opened, Haaland has signed a €20 million move deal with Dortmund.
“I think it was the right move to go to Germany,” Raiola told Sky Sports News. “Because if you talk about the Premier League and you see the Premier League as the most important point of the pyramid, you need to be careful when you come here.
“I think he’s also preparing himself for the best. He’s so young that he has time to come.”
United, Dortmund, RB Leipzig and many other giants in the football were interested and linked with Haaland. However, Raiola didn’t want to reveal the names of the other giants.
“He was close to a lot of clubs, which ones I don’t tell you,” Raiola said.
“I was not surprised. I don’t know who was surprised,” the Italian said. “It’s what he’s [been] doing since I met him. He’s a boy made for scoring goals and I know he will keep on like this.”
