Harry Kane Delighted With Champions League Draw

Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane is very happy to be drawn in a tough group alongside Barcelona and Inter Milan in the Champions League. PSV Eindhoven is the fourth member of the group B and Spurs may have a tough task to cut out in the group stage it seems.

The North London side have made a brilliant start to the Premier League campaign this term and despite not bringing in any reinforcements this summer they have managed to put up a great display so far.

Spurs were made to regret as they were outclassed by a brilliant Juventus in the last 16 of the tournament last season but their super show in the group stage where they managed to grab four points against current holders Real Madrid would surely encourage them to do well in this season.

Harry Kane thinks his club is capable of beating the big clubs. “It’s a brilliant draw — games at famous stadiums like the Nou Camp, the San Siro. It’s a really good draw, one to relish.

“We showed people last season that we can compete at this level, particularly when you look at the games against Real Madrid, who went on to win the tournament.

“You want to play in big games against the best players and this draw gives us a chance as a club to once again test ourselves against the best.”
