Harry Kane’s World Cup exploits are helping him to replicate his trickery in the golden boot race once again.
Kane has been one of the most prolific scorers in the Premier League having registered 20 plus goals in each of the last four seasons. He finished the last two seasons with highest goal tally and is already on his way to repeating the feat.
The 25 year old has been the main source of Tottenham’s goals and has found the net on nine occasions this term. He may not be looking at his best but the English international does possess the skill set to wreak havoc if he is on song.
The Three Lions captain got the golden boot in the World Cup where they lost to Croatia in the semifinals.
Kane said, “When you’ve done it on the biggest stage of them all, the World Cup, you can look back and gain confidence from that.
“If you’re going through a spell where you’re not scoring, a couple of games here and there, you know you can do it at the highest level. You guys know what I’m like now.
“I know what I can achieve and I’ll work as hard as I can to keep reaching goals and reaching more.”
