Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks feels that the absence of Harry Kane will not affect the club adversely as they have players capable of filling Kane’s shoes. Harry Kane injured himself during last night’s Champions League clash against Manchester City and was seen leaving the stadium in crutches. Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino feels that the prolific striker can miss the remainder of the season.

Spurs have already been without Kane for a while earlier this season and Winks believes that they can cope without Kane this time as well. The midfielder said, “We know how important Harry is to us. Hopefully it is nothing too serious and he won’t be out for too long. But we have got great players who can step in and fill that void when he is injured. We have shown that tonight.”

Spurs took a 1-0 advantage over City by defeating them last night thanks to a fine goal from Son-Heung Min. After beating City, Spurs next play already-relegated Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
