Has league football lost its enjoyment?

Now people may wonder what I mean by “lost its enjoyment” purely because of the noise they believe the fans make home and away every game. However when you look at it, it’s not enjoyed as much as everyone expects. The amount of complaining I endure due to ticket prices, the tactics, the greed that has escaped the outside world and slowly creped its way in the sport. Never will the fans be happy even if they do get their hands on the solid trophy.

Let me go deeper. Seasons ago way before these billionaires from Europe and Asia came and took over any club they could, Football was for those who enjoyed a great day out. A day that they could cherish for the rest of their lives. The Atmosphere at most stadiums were electric and unbeatable. Every fan was a real fan not a fan who watches 1 game a blue moon or supports them because they do well. You’d get the odd fan like that because its natural but not like now. Now you see them round every corner. Ticket prices have gone through the roof, greed has taken over the fans and now all they see is money. Assou Ekotto made a very good point that players don’t care about loyalty, its all about money. Has the fun side of football gone? Or is it still there, just deep down, pushed closer and closer to extinction…
