Ralph Hasenhuttl has warned Southampton that they are going to face a tough match against Arsenal this afternoon.

The new Southampton manager will lead his side out for the first time in a home match after taking charge at the St Mary’s Stadium.

Southampton’s new manager Ralph Hasenhuttl has said that they should be ready to have a tough outing against Arsenal in their next match. The Saints are looking to bounce back in the Premier League after enduring an abysmal start to their campaign, which has led them to stand in the nineteenth position on the league table. It has also led to the sacking of their former manager Mark Hughes, who has been replaced by the former RB Leipzig manager Hasenhuttl.

The Austrian gaffer pointed out Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang as the main threat for his side against Arsenal and said, “He has a lot of qualities and therefore we have to work as a team. It will depend how much pressure (we put) on guys that want to pass to him.

He added, “Maybe don’t give too much time to these guys to put the perfect pass then it’s easier to defend his qualities – his speed, his heading in the box. That is our goal to defend him and the rest of the team. But he doesn’t need a lot of chances to score, as everyone knows.”
