Arsenal could launch a formal bid for Borussia Dortmund winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to reports.
The Armenian international is reportedly considering his future, and reports claim it could be away from Dortmund despite the club wanting him to sign a new deal.
Mkhitaryan‘s current contract expires in 2017, and reports have claimed that he’s already considering his long-term future, and is weighing up a move away from the Bundesliga.
The 27-year-old has netted 37 goals in 130 appearances for Dortmund during his three years with the club, but it’s reported that this season could be his last with the club.
The winger is attracting interest from the Premier League, with Arsenal keen on signing him, and because of his versatility, Arsene Wenger wants to lure him to the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal’s midfield is to undergo major changes this summer, with ageing trio Mikel Arteta, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky all leaving the club on a free.
Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach is expected to join, and he could soon be followed by Mkhitaryan.
