Huge blow for Chelsea in £50 million superstar chase
Chelsea have suffered a huge blow in their bid to sign Alex Sandro in January. The Brazilian is set remain at Juventus for the rest of the season according to Calcio Mercato.
The left-back was tipped to join Chelsea this month after his fall out with backroom staff at the Italian side. He was reported to be unhappy at the club and there were talks aof sell him.
However, the Serie A champions have decided not to sell him at this time of the season as it would affect their chances of winning silverware.

They are 2nd in the league table – a point behind Napoli who they are chasing. They face Tottenham in the Champions League and are not willing to let go of one of their best players.
Chelsea had a bid of £60 million rejected for him in the summer but were confident of signing him in January for £50 million.
