The Tigers made a shock move to sign Nani from Valencia on transfer deadline day
Hull launched a surprise move to sign Nani from Valencia on transfer deadline day, according to reports.
The club are currently on the lookout for new wingers, after selling Robert Snodgrass to West Ham and identified Nani as a potential target.
The former Man United man has been plying his trade for Valencia in La Liga and has played 15 times for the Spanish side, bagging himself two goals along the way.
Joined Valencia last summer
Hull decided that Nani would be a good addition to their side and made an approach for him as the transfer window came to an end.
Nani only arrived at Valencia at the beginning of the current season and Valencia would likely have been reluctant to let him leave so soon.
It didn’t stop Hull though and although they didn’t manage to put any deal in place to sign him, the interest was certainly there.
With the club still being a winger down, they could decide to make another move for him in the summer.
