The German world cup winner Mats Hummels has made it clear that he will only leave Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United.
The Red Devils boss Louis Van Gaal wants to strengthen his back line by signing Hummels who is valued at around £36 million.
The Dortmund captain is quoted by German paper Bild as saying: “If I was to transfer abroad at some stage, then it would only be to Manchester United.”
Arsenal and Barcelona are also said to be interested but a move to either now seems unlikely.
Hummels is almost certain to leave Germany in the summer as Dortmund look set to miss out on a place in the top four.
