Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez has said that he can improve and perform well if Zinedine Zidane trusts him. The Columbian returned from a two-year loan spell at Bayern Munich this summer. He was expected to leave Los Blancos but ended up staying put beyond the transfer deadline.
James also featured in Real Madrid’s 3-0 Champions League loss to Paris Saint Germain.
“It was a bad game, better that it happens now and not later,” he said.
“It’s not a day to make excuses but you also have to learn from the bad days, it happens.”
“You learn things every day. We don’t have to be dramatic. It’s been a bad day for everyone and we have to learn from the bad.”
“We have a good team, there are some players missing but we always believe in our work and the boss too, we have to think about the next match.”
“We have another game in four days, we are Real Madrid and we have to think about what there is to come.”
“I think that a lot of people new that I wanted to stay here,” James said.
“I think I can have a good season and achieve important things.”
“With the support of the boss that I have at the moment, it will happen. I have an ideal relationship with Zidane.”
Real Madrid will be back in action as they prepare to face Sevilla this weekend.
