Real Madrid’s midfield playmaker Kaka has revealed he wants to leave the Spanish giants before the end of the transfer window on Monday.

The Brazilian international moved to Real Madrid from AC Milan in 2009 on a six year deal reported to be ÂŁ58.5 million. This fee was the highest ever by the Spanish outfit but was topped later that summer by the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United for ÂŁ80 million.

Since joining Real Madrid Kaka has struggled to gain a regular starting spot and the recent summer signing of Isco from Malaga has seen him fall further down the pecking order.

Kaka scored twice in Madrid’s 4-0 win over Deportivo on Thursday night but revealed later that he wanted to leave the Sapnish capital stating that his agent and father were working on a move away from the club for the 31 year old.

“I want to leave. I think now is the right moment for me and for the club for me to leave amicably,” he said. “I have spoken to Ancelotti and with the club, they all know.”

“Things are difficult for me now in the team, and the club knows what I want.

“It’s my obligation to work and keep training, but my father is already working to see if something comes up. I think it’s the best thing for me and the club.”

Kaka has been linked to a return to his former club AC Milan this sumnmer and Vice-president Adriano Galliani is refusing to rule out a move for the midfielder, ‘Kaka has always been in our hearts, we’ll see if it will be possible.’

Kaka made 85 appearances and scored 23 goals for Real Madrid.
