Brendon Rodgers has said Daniel Sturridge is way infront of his schedule to come back from his injury. Sturridge has been out since late November in which his last appearance was as a substitute against Everton in which he scored a late headed equaliser.
He was originally out for 8-12 weeks but apparently he should be back in time for the game against stoke on the 12th of January. Sturridge has scored 9 goals already this season and was pivotal for Liverpool especially when Luis Suarez was out suspended.
Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is also set to return against Hull City after missing the crucial Christmas period, which included games against Chelsea and Manchester City. There is also a double injury blow with Joe Allen reportedly out for up to 6 weeks and Mamadou Sahko reportedly out for 2 months.
