Tottenham are also open to selling him
Inter Milan finished 4th in the Serie A last season and will return to the Champions League in the upcoming season after missing it out last year. The club are looking to bolster their side this summer in order to challenge for Silverware.
The Italian side have already completed the signing of Radja Nainggolan from rivals Roma in a deal worth €38 million with Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo moving in the opposite direction as part of the transfer. He has signed a 4 year contract.
But the club have no intention of stopping there and are looking to sign another midfielder to compete with the Belgian and has identified his National teammate.
Inter Milan are increasing their interest in Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele, according to the Daily Mail .
The Belgium International joined the English side from Fulham after the triggered a £15 million release clause in his contract in 2015. He has been a mainstay in the midfield since then and is considered as one of the best central midfielders in the league.
Club’s manager Mauricio Pochettino is a huge admirer of him and even hailed him as genius. The 30 year old was a regular for the side last term, making 40 appearances in all competitions and helped his team to finish third in the Premier League.
But Dembele has been heavily linked with a summer exit as he is yet to agree a new contract extension with the Premier League giants. He has only one year left on his current contract and if he fails to agree to fresh terms then the club are open to selling him rather than let him leave on a free transfer.
The Serie A giants have already held talks with the player’s agent and are planning further meetings next week. Spurs wants over €23 million for him.
