Italian giants Inter Milan are not letting Mauro Icardi leave the club.

Inter Milan have confirmed that they have no plans on selling star-striker Mauro Icardi at the end of the season.

The frontman has been in very impressive form this season having scored 18 times for the San Siro club.

The 22-year-old has been a highlight of Inter Milan’s campaign and many European clubs have been scouting the striker on several occasions.

Premier League Interest

English sides Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are chasing the Argentinian’s signature – who made the move to Inter Milan two years ago.

However, the Premier League giants’ chances on signing him are minimal. Inter president, Erick Thohir, has confirmed that the club have no intention on letting the goal-scorer leave.

President Confirms No Sale

Thohir said: “We won’t sell Icardi, he’s one of our most important players.

“Often money can cause problems, but not for him as he has his head firmly on his shoulders.

“We are working towards an agreement for a contract renewal, it’s important that he stays with us.” he added.
